In a blog post shared several months ago, I outlined the challenge of finding a tour group that would meet one's requests for ASL interpreters and/or fellow Deaf travelers. After scouring the Internet and various travel agencies, tour agencies, and countless blog / vlog posts, we now have a tour set up through Hands On Travel for a five-country tour of Europe!

Here's the information:

"A film, literacy and mythical dream tour over 24 days.  Relive Harry Potter, Mary Poppins and Peter Pan in LONDON.  Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables and Hunchback of Notre Dame in PARIS.  Walk through the castle in GERMANY that inspired the Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella castles at several Disney Parks.  Check out Mozart and Sound of Music in SALZBURG.  The Shakespearean “Merchant of VENICE.”  Feel like Cleopatra or Julius Caesar in the Forum and the Gladiators at the Colosseum in ROME."

Group Leader: Dan Brubaker

Dates: July 14-Aug 6, 2016 (24 days)

Cities Visited: London (4 nights); Paris (4 nights); Munich (4 nights); Salzburg (3 nights); Venice (2 nights); Florence (2 nights); and Rome (4 nights).

For more information and registration, please visit the tour page here to view the itinerary, important information, and booking the trip. (Cost is per person, double occupancy, so find a travel buddy to go with!)

Hope to see you on the tour!
